Gintama Anime's Courtesan of the Nation Arc Compilation Film Opens in Taiwan on October 18

MediaLink began streaming an English- and Chinese-subtitled trailer for the Gintama on Theater 2D: Ikkoku Keisei-hen (Courtesan of the Nation) compilation film on Saturday. The video reveals that the film will open in Taiwan on October 18.
The "Ikkoku Keisei" (Courtesan of the Nation) arc encomes episodes 257-261 of the anime.
The "Baragaki" (Thorny) arc is the first compilation film of the latest open in Japan on November 22 later this year.
The compilations are part of the Gintama Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama manga debuting, and 2026 being the 20th anniversary of the television anime's premiere. The Yorinuki Gintama-san rerun of the television anime also spawned two "on Theater 2D" compilations in 2012 and 2013.
