The Rising of The Shield Hero Anime Gets 2 More Seasons

1st season of Crunchyroll co-production premiered on January 9, ran for 25 episodes
The Rising of The Shield Hero anime will have an additional two seasons. The company did not announce a debut date for the new seasons. Crunchyroll revealed a new visual for the anime.

releasing the novel series and Aiya Kyū's manga adaptation in English. The publisher describes the novels' first volume:
Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days on games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe! The The Rising of The Shield Hero anime series premiered with a two-hour special on January 9 and premiered the first dubbed episode at last year's Crunchyroll Expo in September 2018 with guests from the anime.
