Black Jack, Astro Boy, Phoenix Anime Stream With English Dubs on Amazon Prime (Update)

Amazon Prime. The following episodes are available:

• Black Jack (2004) episodes 1-52
• Astro Boy (1980) episodes 1-13
• Phoenix (2004) all 13 episodes

Ammo Content confirmed that it licensed the episodes from Japanese distributor Trans World Associates. All three shows have aired in some countries through The Japan Foundation within the past two years, but Ammo Content told ANN that it is not at this time working with The Japan Foundation.

The English Sunni Westbrook, who plays Pinoko, said the dub was recorded "a few years back."

The 62-episode television anime adaptation of Tezuka's Black Jack manga aired from 2004-2006. The Crunchyroll is streaming the first 28 episodes with English subtitles.

The 1980-1981 Astro Boy anime, the second television anime based on Tezuka's manga, ran for 52 episodes. NTV.

The television anime adaptation of Tezuka's Phoenix manga aired in 2004. Media Blasters released the series on DVD with an English dub. Ammo Content told ANN that the dub in the version it licensed was produced in 2004 "with a New York Studio" for airing on a public broadcasting channel.

Ammo Content is also offering the Blood-C: The Last Mind stage play with English subtitles on Amazon Prime.
