Hase serialized the novel in Newtype in 2012. The artist redjuice (Satoshi Kadowaki (chief animation director for Guilty Crown and Attack on Titan) provided "animation versions" of the illustrations for the English version.
The novel inspired the Famitsu Comic Clear website in 2014, and is ongoing. Kadokawa published the manga's fourth compiled book volume in February 2016.
The original novel also inspired a manga adaptation by Kagura Uguisu in Kadokawa's Shōnen Ace magazine. The manga launched in 2012, and ended in 2013.
