Koei Tecmo Games Reveals Attack on Titan 2 Game For Early 2018 Release Worldwide

Koei Tecmo Games revealed on Monday that its Omega Force subsidiary is developing an Attack on Titan 2 sequel game. The American, European, and Japanese trailers for the game all reveal an early 2018 release. Koei Tecmo Games hasn't yet revealed the platform(s) for the game.
Hideo Suzuki is directing the game, and Hisashi Koinuma is the producer. Koei Tecmo Games America described the game as follows: "Players will once again don the renowned Omni-Directional Maneuver Gear as they fight and repel the fearsome Titans that threaten humanity, to restore peace within the walls." The sequel game will feature new gameplay mechanics.
Koei Tecmo Games and Omega Force (Warriors/Musou franchise) released the first Steam in Europe (under the title A.O.T: Wings of Freedom) and in the Americas in August 2016.
The first game was set during the Battle of Trost. In the game, players can freely walk around in the barracks and town and converse with other characters, upgrade weapons, and gain intelligence on missions.
Nintendo 3DS. The game will arrive in Japan this year and is a sequel to the Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains game.
