'Cocolors' Anime Short Wins Satoshi Kon Award at Fantasia Int'l Film Festival

Night is Short, Walk On Girl' films win audience awards

Montreal's Satoshi Kon Award for Excellence in Animation" award for a short film.

JUNK HEAD" stop-motion film earned a Special Mention in the Satoshi Kon Award for a feature film.

Additionally, Night is Short, Walk On Girl anime film won the Bronze Prize in the same category.

Blade of the Immortal film also earned a Silver Prize for the "Best Asian Feature Film" audience award.

The story of "Cocolors" takes place hundreds of years after an eruption of Mt. Fuji caused a massive disaster. Everyone must live deep underground, and wear large masks and protective clothing covering the entire body. In this harsh environment, two young boys named Aki and Fuyu live. The two boys a recovery team that ventures out to the outside world.

Yokoshima ("Yuichi Suehiro was the art director. Kaoru/Brilliance composed the music.
