posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Game ships on PS4, PS Vita in Japan on August 24, Western version to add Steam release
The company describes the game:
The follow-up to 2016's cult horror hit Yomawari: Night Alone, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows introduces two brand-new girls, Yui and Haru, to the night and the spirits who haunt it. Separated by a mysterious attacker, each girl will explore haunting and bizarre locations, face the terrors of the night, and test their courage and wits to survive and reconnect with one another.
Nippon Ichi Software will release the game in Japan for the PS4 and PS Vita on August 24.
In the original game, players take the role of a little girl who uses a single flashlight to search in the night for her lost sister and dog. The sequel will use the same concept as the first game, but the game's map will be about twice as large.
Nippon Ichi Software released physical and digital editions for the game in North America and Europe last October. The game launched worldwide on PC last October.
