The Boy and the Beast's English Dub Cast, March Opening Announced

The Boy and The Beast film on Tuesday.

Funimation mentioned that it is working closely with Hosoda to develop the English dub. The original Japanese cast and the English dub cast includes:

Funimation describes the film:

When Kyuta, a young orphan living on the streets of Shibuya, stumbles into a fantastic world of beasts, he's taken in by Kumatetsu, a gruff, rough-around-the-edges warrior beast who's been searching for the perfect apprentice. Despite their constant bickering, Kyuta and Kumatetsu begin training together and slowly form a bond as surrogate father and son. The Fantasic Film Festival in Austin screened the film for a week last month.

The film highest grossing domestic film in Japan in 2015.

Hosoda (Masakatsu Takagi (Wolf Children) scored the soundtrack.

licensed the film's novel and manga adaptation, and it will release the novel and the first volume of the manga on February 23.

American theater chain Gaumont is handling international sales outside Asia. Funimation is working with Gaumont International to release the film.
