Buriki's series inspired 2 TV anime, several manga, live-action film
The Haganai) light novel series reveal that the volume will serve as the series' epilogue.
The light novels' story begins with Kodaka — a half-Japanese/half-British transfer student whose delinquent-like blonde hair and fierce eyes scare people — and a seemingly perpetually sullen girl named Yōzōra. The two decide to form Rinjinbu, a club for misfits with hardly any friends.
Hirasaka and Buriki launched the light novel series in 2009, and published the 10th volume (pictured at right) in June 2014.
The light novel series inspired Funimation released the two TV anime seasons on home video.
