Nana Mizuki Cancels Concert Due to Inflamed Vocal Cords

Voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki canceled this Sunday's "Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014" tour concert due to inflamed vocal cords. The concert was scheduled to begin in Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka at 4:00 p.m.
After Saturday's concert at the same venue, the performer's vocal cords were inflamed, and she lost her voice. Just before the doors were scheduled to open for today's concert, Mizuki tested her condition. After consulting with a doctor and event staff, the concert organizers decided to cancel the performance.
Fans who purchased tickets for the canceled event can get refunds. Refund information will be available from the tour website, Mizuki's official website, ticket retailers, and other sources on Monday.
Snack food maker dumped the unwanted snacks in two cities. The voice actress was "deeply saddened by the event" and used the situation to promote the Marugomi trash pickup project.
The "Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014" tour began on June 1 and runs until August 3.
Mizuki's anime roles include named Mizuki Rookie of the Year in the Popular Entertainment division of the 64th Annual Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) Art Encouragement Prizes in March.
