1st Pokémon XY Film's Teaser Confirms July 19 Opening

Hakai no Mayu (Cocoon of Destruction) film to feature Xerneas, Yvetal, Mega Evolution

The January issue of YouTube began streaming the film's teaser trailer which proclaims that, like the Pokémon games, "the films are entering a new dimension!"

According to the magazine and teaser, the first Pokémon XY film will feature Mega Evolution just like the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y 3DS games. The Legendary Pokémon Xerneas is spotted standing in a forest along with another Legendary Pokémon, Yvetal. Also appearing in the new adventures in the Kalos region are Satoshi (Ash), Citron (Clemont), Eureka (Bonnie), and Serena.

Director franchise. The film will run with the "Pikachu, Kore Nanno Kagi?" (Pikachu, What's This Key For?) short.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Shinsoku no Genosekuto: Myuutsū Kakusei).
