Fuyumi Ono, Michi Urushihara's Kidan Hyakkei debuts with other supernatural tales in Mei
Monthly Ikki magazine, is creating the Kidan Hyakkei manga.
Kidan Hyakkei is Ono's first collection of short ghost stories. The first story to be turned into a manga is "Okiniiri" (Favorite), which begins with a little girl staring at what appears to be nothing on the ceiling, before pointing and crying out loud, "A swing!"
Mei is also running manga of ghost stories by Machiko Kyō, and Tomoe Shimomoto.
