3rd 20th Century Boys stays at #1; Ballad opens at #2
The third film in 20th Century Boys manga stayed at #1 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's Japanese box office chart during the September 5-6 weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned US$5,739,027 in its second weekend to add to its gross-to-date of US$22,893,123.

franchise, fell from #5 to #9 in its eighth weekend. It added US$363,607 for a gross-to-date of US$48,412,133.
film slipped from #10 off the chart in its third weekend.
