20th Century Boys' Fictional Ujiko-Ujio Draws Spinoff

1-shot manga credited to creator duo within Naoki Urasawa's story

Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: The 12th issue of 20th Century Boys suspense manga.

Within the story of 20th Century Boys, the two beret-wearing manga artists who use the "Ujiko-Ujio" pen-name are caught in the middle of the calamities that strike all over the world. The oval-faced Kaneko and the eyeglasses-wearing Ujiki are Urasawa's apparent homage to Fujiko Fujio" pen-name.

Weekly Big Comic Spirits is the same magazine that published the original 20th Century Boys manga from 1999 to 2006. launched the original manga in North America this month.
