Phantom Dream from Fruits Basket's Takaya, Tokyopop

The North American publisher Fruits Basket story, in December. Phantom Dream is about a man who is destined to become mankind's guardian against evil spirits. The story follows his romance with his childhood friend and his confrontations with various enemies.
Takaya created several earlier one-shot manga, such as 1990's Hana to Yume Planet Zōkan magazine. However, Phantom Dream would be her first work that would be published into compiled volumes. Hakusensha published Phantom Dream in Hana to Yume Planet Zōkan and Hana to Yume Step Zōkan magazines, and then released five volumes between 1994 and 1997.
Tokyopop will also be promoting its latest Fruits Basket release by posting the entire Volume 19 for free online on March 14 at 19:19 ET (7:19 p.m. ET) for 19 minutes. It will also be giving away a physical copy a day between now and March 14 to of its online Fruits Basket clan.
