SPJA, Manga Companies Give to California Fire Evacuees

Donations also requested at Red Cross for half-million evacuees
donating manga to the people who now live in fire relief shelters and evacuation centers due to this week's wildfires in Southern California. An estimated half-million people have evacuated their homes during this declared federal state of emergency.
Many companies related to anime and manga, including Aurora Publishing, New Generation Pictures, and Tokyopop, as well as their employees, are located in Southern California near or at the affected areas.
Monetary donations can be given through the Red Cross at 1-800 HELP NOW (1-800-435-7669) or www.redcross.org, and in-kind donations can be offered at 1-800-746-5463.
