Due to poor sales, Viz is re-evaluating the release of OVA series, with a few minutes of new animation (the total movie running time is approximately 2 hours, versus 6 hours for the OVAs). Viz has already released the entire OVA series on one DVD, the movie has never been released in North America in any format.
Correction: We made a typo, the combined runnng time of the three OVA episodes is 3 hours, not 6 hours. What's more, the Maison Ikkoku box set #4 will retail for $49.98, not $69.98. ANN Regrets this error. Thanks to Tim Dunlop for pointing this out.
