Charity Auctions Feature More Art by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko & Others

A second set of art drawn at Kaasan - Mom's Life creator Reiko Saibara's April charity event were put on auction unil May 7.

"Reiko Saibara no Jinsei Garyoku Taiketsu Live ~Utsurun Desu).

The artist met on April 3 at Mt. Rainier Hall in Tokyo's Shibuya ward to raise money for volunteer and non-profit organizations that are helping with Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster recovery efforts.

Each artist drew characters from their most well-known works on shikishi (signature boards). Yasuhiko drew Char Aznable from the franchise (pictured right). Fukumoto drew the titular character from his gambling manga Kaiji and Saibara drew the cast from Kaasan - Mom's Life.

A third set of auctions will end on May 17 at Yahoo! Auctions. The third set's theme is favorite characters by manga/anime pioneer Osamu Tezuka.

Itagaki, Itou, Yamazaki and Saibara drew characters from The Three-eyed One for the auctions.
