Magazine's site says character in Generation Hope spinoff resembles Akira's Tetsuo

On Thursday, Wired magazine's website began hosting a preview of the second issue from Marvel's Uncanny X-Men spinoff Generation Hope, which the site describes as "lifting" the psychic character Tetsuo from Akira. The second issue, which will be released on December 1, takes place in Tokyo just like Akira. The first issue from the series was released this week.

In 2007, rapper Kanye West released a music video titled "Strong," which was later followed by screenwriter Albert Torres.

Otomo serialized the original manga in Japan from 1982 to 1990, and then he directed the 1987 anime film adaptation. re-released the first three volumes of the original manga in English, with the fourth due out on November 30.
